March 21, 2025 – Jackson Public Schools will introduce a modified calendar in the 2025-2026 school year, meaning an earlier start and additional break time for scholars.

JPS Announces School Boundary Adjustments for 2025-2026 School Year
March 21, 2025 – JPS will be adjusting school boundaries in an effort to right-size classrooms and ensure access to resources for all scholars. The changes will affect 17 schools.
