Murrah and Jackson Middle College Senior and Teacher Honored by Mississippi Economic Council

March 25, 2025 - Murrah High School's Kristen Celeste Rhodes, has been named the 2024-2025 STAR Student by the Mississippi Economic Council. Mrs. Rhonda Murphy-Johnson was chosen as STAR Teacher in the same program.

JPS Releases the District Calendar for the 2025-2026 School Year

March 21, 2025 – Jackson Public Schools will introduce a modified calendar in the 2025-2026 school year, meaning an earlier start and additional break time for scholars.
